Kate McCabe and Lukas Kirkby
Participants of the Beginning Improv course will explore the fundamentals of shortform improvisation. Starting with 'Yes, And', working through basic skills and learning to play games similar to those seen in 'Whose Line is it Anyway'.
Following the six-week course there will be a showcase, where family and friends can come to see you playing the games you've learnt along the way!
The Beginning Improv course covers:
Developing skills in listening, communication and public performance
The improv mantra of 'yes, and' and why it is so important
Characters in improvisation
Mime, objects and environment
Completing the platform (and the 'tilt')
Shortform scenes and games
